We stayed in week 29 of this year, and it was our first trip to the region. We stayed in the accommodation separate to the main building, and it was easily the best week of our holiday! We travelled with small children, and a dog, and our host was very welcoming and good with the children.
The setting is beautiful, the accommodation was both spacious and cool during the heatwave (40 degrees some days!). There were occasional gifts of fresh eggs or fruits from the grounds, the pool was amazing, and there were lots of extra things for the kids to do as well.
Both my wife and I said we had never been so relaxed, and we fully intend returning in the future. We would highly recommend a stay at this lovely place.
